AS A Kirkby resident of 25 years, it was with complete despair that I read your headlines yesterday.
Kirkby town centre is one of the most depressing shopping centres, and I use replica breitling the term loosely, that I have ever had the misfortune to shop in.
As one resident put it, if you want to buy a pastie or shop in the Pound Shop, then great, but don't try and buy a pair of men's shoes or anything else so off the wall!
replica rolexWhat really annoys me are the objections put forward by Merseyside councils, yet they have conspired to deprive the citizens of Kirkby of a decent place to shop, eat and be entertained.
There is nowhere in Kirkby where you would want to take visitors for a meal or a drink, and now it seems there never will be.

I am not a fan of Tesco and very rarely shop there, but they were the only organisation willing to put up the cash to drag Kirkby into the 21st century, and there appears to be no Plan B, so where does Kirkby go from here? I also think Rosie Cooper's comments are despicable when she talks about what great news it is for the people of Skem as it gives them a renewed sense of hope for the future redevelopment of the town.
