The growth in the number of women-oriented web sites has been highlighted in a report by PR Week magazine.

Chanel Cambon BagsCurrent leaders in this field, according to the results, include Handbag.com (part of The Telegraph Group) and CharlotteStreet.com (part of Associated Newspapers).
BeMe.com, which launches next month, is part of the magazine corporation IPC. The title is IPC's first dedicated online publication,
embroidered patches and its move towards Internet publishing in this way gives some indication of the perceived need within the publishing industry to develop a dedicated online presence.
